          Anjaneri fort is situated on the mountain known as Rishi Mountains in the Trimbakeshwar mountain range. On this mountain, Anjani Matte took recitation for 108 years. There is a God who is worshiped on this hill of Hanuman. Therefore, this fort may have been named "Anjaneri".Anjaneri was an important fort in the Trimbakeshwar range. Even today, 16 decorative temples and inscriptions can be seen in Anjaneri village situated at the foothills of the fort. Of these, 4 temples are of Hindu deities and 12 temples are of Jain deities. Anjreni fort and temples are seen in a day from Mumbai, Nashik and Pune.

Places to see:


         A road from Anjaneri village to the base of the fort is made. Presently (002 AD) a similar kind of jeep can be carried by this road. Nashik - If you arrive at Trimbakeshwar ST bus, then you can come to Anjaneri fate and reach Hanuman temple in the village for 15 minutes. From this here the Anjaneri fort, spread across two navigations, and the next, is filled. There are two options to go from the village to the base of the fort.Walking on the road or walking by the road. The rough road goes past the foothills, while the passage gradually goes upstairs to the top of the road. In the rainy season, there are small moons on footpaths. On the left side of the Hanuman Mandir, there is a bold step on the left side of the road. You can reach the road in about 25 to 30 minutes by the footpath. After 10 minutes on this road, we reach the square section of the fort at the foot of the fort.First built by the forest department but now it takes steep steps. When you pass that you reach a circle. This place is carved in a steeper height of lesser height. The beauty of the underlying stitches is reduced but the height of it has increased. On reaching the height of these steps, there is a Jain Lane on the left. The lane has two domes, which include the idol of Parshvanath and other idols.After seeing the Lane, after reaching the rest of the steps, you reach a different plateau.

     From the plateau, you see the temple of Anjani Mata and the besiege next to it. It takes 15 minutes to reach the temple of Anjani Mata. The temple is quite spacious. It's perfect for a stay. One is in front of the temple and one such water table is on the right side of the temple. But both the tanks are dry. The temple has two shops of food and puja literature.When going to the citadel from the temple to the citadel, there is a paw-shaped pond on the left. He is known as Hanuman Lake and Indra Kund. There is a God who believes that Hanuman has stepped in this place and that the size of the pond is like a walk. (The pond size starts from the Citadel Mountyard to appear) This is currently the only source of drinking water on the fort. After going a little further from here, there are two parts at the base of the citadel.Turning one way to the left leads to Sita Gunfay and the other way goes upstairs. In 10 minutes after reaching the left side we reach the Sita cave. Here, a sadhu has made an ashram. On the outside side of the ashram, there is 3 towers constructed. After reaching the back side of this temple, there is a carved stone in the wall.On the outside of the lee's door are carved with two wedges. The lane has two rooms. There are many sculptures carved on the walls of the lane.

     After seeing the Sita Lake, you should start by climbing the hill of the fort. Normally, at a height of four feet, one passes to the left. A cave is seen after this trek forward. This cave should be used for watching. At present, a sadhu has put your place in it. He is also a water tank next to the cave. After reaching the cave after reaching the cave and reaching the top of the cave we reach the plateau citadel.Like the Machi Plateau, the Citadel Plateau is also unique. After 10 minutes walk from the plateau, we reach the temple of Hanuman. There is a water body on the side of the temple. There are some idols and objects in front of the temple. When you come here, your bad story is complete. The expansion of the fort is huge and there are no other residues on it.

    From Anjaneri fort, there are Brahmagiri (Trimbakgad), Harihar, Gadgada (Gharagad), Dangya cone, and see.

There are 16 complete temples and inscriptions seen in Anjaneri village. Of these, 4 temples are of Hindu deities and 12 temples are of Jain deities. Currently (2017) these temples have collapsed in large quantity. The Central Archeology Department has undertaken its repair work.

Trimbakeshwar, one of the 12 Jyotirlinga, is known as the Pilgrim area. Anjaneri fort is located 3 kilometers away from Trimbakeshwar. On the Anjaneri fort, to reach Nashik-Trimbakeshwar ST bus, fall on the Nashik-Trimbakeshwar road from Nashik, 20 km from Anjaneri Phat. After 15 minutes walk from this dirt, you can reach Hanuman Temple in Anjaneri village.A road from Anjaneri village to the base of the fort is made. 1) There are 10 to 12 people staying in Anjani Mata temple on the plateau.

2) Sita Gunfat also has accommodation for 10 to 12 people.

Food Facility:

In the shops of the fort, there is a convenience to eat food at the Trimbakeshwar road.

Water Facility:

There is a pool of water on the fort.
